Don has recently begun offering Dream Interpretation as part of his ministry. This ties in closely with counseling, as God will often speak to people in dreams about heart issues which need healing.
Job 33:15 says that dreams are visions in the night. Visions (and dreams) are an important way God speaks to us. Dreams and visions are meant to lead people to action, which is what they did in the Bible. For example, in Acts 16, after the Holy Spirit forbade Paul from going to Asia and Bithynia on his missionary journey, he went to sleep wondering where to go. Paul dreamt that night about a Macedonian man waving to him. When he woke up, confident that God spoke to him in his dream, Paul immediately went to Macedonia to minister.
And dreams and visions are an integral part of the Bible. There are over 50 dreams and visions in the Bible. And if all of the scripture accounts of dreams and vision, and their accompanying actions were put together, they would equal one third of the Bible – the size of the New Testament!!! This shows the great importance of dreams/visions in the Bible and the need to interpret them.
Don professionally learned Dream Interpretation at Christian Leadership University from Dr. Charity Virkler Kayembe and Dr. Mark Virkler (Charity’s father). Dr. Charity is especially anointed in Dream Interpretation, which is considered to be her “coat”/primary calling. Don considers it an honor to have had her as an instructor for Dream Interpretation.
